Default Why not a trading fair ?

Imagine if there could be several places that would look like, say Lion's Arch, and where sellers and buyers would be able to meet. Sellers would take one of the many tables and lay out the stuff they have for sale and buyers would be able to look at each item and buy whatever they want using the usual trading window. It would surely free the chatting in towns, which often turns to spam.

Just an idea like that.

I like it. It was called "the Bazaar" in EQ, and you could walk up to any person selling and see what they had for sale, how much, and buy it off them as desired.

/cheers

No, the bazaar was pretty much just a spamfest with people standing around the EC tunnel...

I dont think that would work, because like modern day open air markets you would have people spamming.

And you don't have that now? Have you been to Lion's Arch lately?

Excellent idea... I agree with the original poster...

How about like RO is where you can just click a text bubble over their head that they set up when they're afk and see everything they have for sale with their price then you buy it like a store. That system works pretty well IMHO.
